The seminar will focus on PhD study – Pros and cons of being scientist and how to develop successful scientific carrer.

Dr. Václav Větvička, Ph.D. graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Charles University and until 1991 he worked at the Institute of Microbiology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Since 1991 he has worked at School of Medicine, Dept. of Pathology, University of Louisville, Louisville, KY, USA. He is an author of more than 200 scientific publications, 7 books and 8 international patents.
