Prof. Hemminki je špičkou v oboru epidemiologie a genetiky mnoha typů nádorových onemocnění. K dnešnímu dni je autorem více než 1.250 prací s 29.000 citacemi a H-indexem 79. V připravované přednášce shrne aktuální stav znalostí a budoucí směry výzkumu v nádorové biologii.

We would like to announce the lecture presented by Professor Kari Hemminki from Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum in Heidelberg. The lecture will be given in English and will be held on Thursday, 1st of December 2016 at 3:00 pm., in the seminary room of Biomedical Centre.

Professor Hemminki is a top scientist in the field of epidemiology and genetics of various types of cancer. During his career, he authored more than 1,250 articles, got over 29,000 citations and H-index 79. During the lecture, he will summarize current knowledge and future directions in cancer research.
