At the meeting, the most significant results of five research programs of the project were presented in the form of lectures and poster presentations. NICR is the first comprehensive attempt to connect the entire innovation chain - i.e. basic, applied, and translational research in oncology - funded by the EU through the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports of the Czech Republic.In addition to the team leaders, young scientists at all career stages represented the Pilsen workplaces.They shared their results with colleagues through two lectures and five posters.Symbolically, in the congress center and the adjacent hotel, in addition to the representation of our country's oncology capacities, the football team also gathered, which in the last match secured the victory of the group and promotion to the highest level of the League of Nations.We will believe that the oncology representation will be no less successful in its work.
