The meeting was held in a friendly non-formal fashion and a total of 40 researchers from the Laboratory of Cancer Treatment and Tissue Regeneration, Laboratory of Tumor Biology and Laboratory of Pharmacogenomics of the Biomedical Center, and also from the Department of Toxicogenomics (National Institute of Public Health) and Institute of Experimental Medicine (Czech Academy of Sciences) participated at the event. 19 research reports were presented and followed by a lively scientific discussion.

A part of the event was dedicated to the first team meeting of the project UNCE/MED/006: Centrum of Clinical and Experimental Liver Surgery. During the weekend, preliminary results of the featured research were discussed and the course of future work and collaboration was planned. Aside from the scientific program, a hiking trip to the hills of Šumava stimulated the participants on Saturday.

We would like to thank to all of the participants for sharing their results, joining us in a fruitful discussion and maintaining a fruitful collaboration with us. We are looking forward to the next – 10th anniversary meeting, which will take place next year.
